Fred Andersen Boat and Woodworks is located in the East Bay, in the historic Richmond Boatworks building, within the boundaries of the KKMI Boatyard. Fred was born and raised in Denmark, he began his career as a boatbuilding apprentice in Norway. For over 40 years Fred has specialized in the building, restoration and repair of wooden boats.
Fred’s complete shop allows him to handle projects of all sizes;
from small wooden tenders to Knarrs and Folkboats to the Maltese Falcon.
